Nice place but no water at all dry as a bone fishing days are over
A 4wd SUV is a must. We couldn't get to the summit with sedan.
Amazing place for a swim and a BBQ. Beautiful bushland and great walking tracks aswell.

Not easy to access, the place is accessible via sandy, muddy roads with lots of dips and bumps. You can also take your sedan but I would recommend to drive slowly. I used google maps but I found some of the tracks were closed by gates and google was pointing me to go inside whereas it was mentioned on the gates only for management access. It is better to use maps provided by Lerderderg park website. Not safe for night travel unless you have very good bright lights as some of the roads have sharp turns with no reflectors.
